History
- Legley composed his aphorisms in March and April 1966.
- The work has been performed once, annotations on the score suggest that it was written for a film or a television programme.
- Legley withdrew this composition. His son writes: Father writes: has been performed once, disaster: has to disappear. After all, I'll revise it![1][2]
