History
- Legley composed his aphorisms in March and April 1966.
- The work was performed once, annotations on the score suggest that it was written for a film or a television programme.
- Legley withdrew this composition. His son writes: Vader schrijft: werd 1 keer opgevoerd, katastroof: moet weg. Ik zal dit toch nazien! [Father writes: was performed once, disaster: has to disappear. After all, I'll revise it!].[1]
