- Legley worked on this concerto between 6 March 1983[1] and April 1984[2][3] in Koksijde.
- The concerto was first performed on 22 June 1985 in the BRT concert studio in Brussels by Roel Dieltiens and the BRT Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Avi Ostrowsky.[4]
