History

  • According to the first edition, Legley composed this serenade in 1957.
  • In December of the same year, he was awarded the first prize of the province Brabant for his composition.[2]
  • The first performance took place in December 1958 during a midday concert in Brussels, the performers were Julien Ghyoros and the orchestra from Liège.[3]
