  • This work was heard for the first time in Flagey on 4 June 1947 during the Internationaal Festival voor jonge Muziek (Festival international de jeune musique) [International Festival for New Music], organised within the framework of the Wereldfestival voor Film en Schone Kunsten (Festival mondial du Film et des Beaux-Arts) [International Festival for Film and Fine Arts] in Brussels. The performers were Franz André and the NIR symphony orchestra.[1]
