History
- Legley worked on this composition from August 1947 to February 1948.
- On 9 March 1948, the work was declared at NAVEA.[1]

- The first performance was played at the Festival van Vlaamse orkestmuziek [Festival of Flemish orchestral music] on 5 December 1949 by the chamber orchestra of the Belgian radio under the direction of Jozef Verelst.[2]
