Notes
- ↑ The autograph of this version bears a stamp of authors' association SABAM, dated 19.XI.1952.
- ↑ Legley notes in his autograph: Ceci est, je l'espère, la partition définitive. Elle détruit la partition précédente, qui... ne demandait que cela, d'ailleurs.
- ↑ This can be deduced from the loan overview of the orchestral parts made by CeBeDeM for the year 1960 (present in the Legley archives of the Royal Conservatory Brussels, without shelf number). This date seems to be confirmed by Legley's dedication in the autograph piano reduction of the concerto: Pour Sonia, qui a moins le trac que moi... en souvenir d'une journée merveilleuse. Vendredi 29 avril 1960. Legley wrote similar dedications on the autographs of other works, e.g. the concert for 13 instruments, always on the day of the first performance.
- ↑ Piccolo, 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, double bassoon, 4 horns, 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, timpani and strings.
- ↑ In the autograph initially still Adagio ma non troppo, as in version 1, but ma non troppo was eventually crossed out.
