*Legley finished this composition on 10 March 1941 in Brussels.<ref>Legley's commentary on a note accompanying the autograph of the work: ''Hier steekt een beetje veel Hindemith in, maar ik durf er toch tevreden over zijn.'' [There's quite a lot of Hindemith in it, but I dare to be satisfied with it.]</ref>
*The first performance was played in 1943 in the Palace for Fine Arts in Brussels by the Carlo Van Neste Quartet.<ref>CeBeDeM - lijst werken: ''Oeuvres de Victor Legley'', p.1.
