*Opera on a libretto by [https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herman_Closson Herman Closson]. [https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anton_van_de_Velde Anton van de Velde] translated the opera into Dutch.<ref name="een">[[Tessely/en|Tessely]], p.121.</ref>
*Legley worked on his opera from 1959 to September 1963.
*The beginning of the fourth act was reused by Legley as a [[Jingle (3rd programme)|jingle]] for the Belgian radio.<ref>On p.358 of the autograph, Legley wrote down: ''Het begin van deze 4e acte is het indicatief van het IIIe programma'' [The beginning of this 4th act is the jingle of the IIIrd programme]].
