Opus 121

History

  • Legley worked on this symphony from 1988 to 4 July 1993[1], in Navacelles, Woluwe, Awenne, Serruys, Koksijde and Quillan.
  • Composed on commission of BRT Radio en Televisie - Nederlandse Uitzendingen.[2]
  • First performance on 27 October 1994 in the concert hall of the Lemmens Institute in Leuven. Performers were Avi Ostrovsky and the BRTN Philharmonic Orchestra.[3]
