History
- Legley composed this work in 1979[1] for the 25th anniversary of the Belgian television.[2]
- The overture was first performed at a concert on 16 November 1980 in the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels by the BRT Philharmonic orchestra and the BRT big band conducted by Fernand Terby.[3]
