History

  • Legley composed this work between 1985 and 11 November 1988.[1]
  • The symphony was played for the first time on 18 April 1989 by the Royal Band of the Belgian Guides under the direction of Norbert Nozy in the large concert studio[2] of the radio in Brussels.[3]
